Happy Birthday Laurie

Happy Birthday Laurent! Every year, no matter what's going on in my life I draw art dedicated to my one true comfort character. Laurie is an OC who has been with me through some incredible ups and downs in my life but working with his gentle spirited personality in writing and art has become a source of strength and comfort for me. This is a quick and messy piece, so please don't zoom in.

To give a small social update as to my newest disappearance, in July my Mother passed away, which also prompted a massive move all in the same month. She was my confidant, my cheerleader and my best friend. There is an irreparable hole in my heart but with the love of family and friends I'm crafting a new life that would make my Mom proud.
