I think it's interesting how people use the word "false dichotomy" more often than "false dilemma". But honestly can't blame people, I like variety in my vocabulary.( though obviously there are also people who use it just to sound smart haha) I like "decorating" my sentences sometimes. Though it might make you less understandable, so it depends. You can sorta make out what false dilemma means though maybe if you use false dichotomy someone may be more inclined to research about the topic and understand it better??? Idk maybe the unique name makes the concept easier to remember??
