Last one for Mermay this year: In the Arcane Realm, the Jiaoren are well known in the Nyangu sea bordering the Yoajing region and the Zomia Tropics. These merfolk are famous for their, translated as mermaid silk which they use primarily in their clothing and still considered very valuable.
