Happy new year to everyone! And now the QOTD:
How many OCs do you have that exist in your head, but haven’t actually made yet?
For me, there’s a lot of those! One of my New Years resolutions is to make more OCs, particularly villainous characters!
Characters I want to create are:
* Eli: Scon’s sworn enemy, and former friend. Dying from a terminal illness, he turned to the dark arts to prolong his life. He also kidnapped Scon’s child, Erbon. He can control worms for a variety of purposes. His main goal is to find a suitable sacrifice to bring the dying god he worships into the mortal plane.
* Infernus: Also known as the “King of Chimera,” he has a vicious deposition, and filled with a burning rage against humanity. Rumor has it that he wasn’t always this way, and he actually is a really good painter.
* Mu (temporary name): an assassin brought back to life via demonic possession by a shadow person, he was a komuso monk in life, who suffered from murderous impulses despite his pacifist ways. Turns out a shadow person bonded with his soul at birth, who could communicate with him occasionally. He can summon and control spirits, and the dead, with shakuhachi (a flue that komuso used, though his is about the length of a spear!)Jan 4, 2022

I have Frog(weird, almost naked, long haired forest spirit obsessed with decomposition related things in the forest. He's basically just a weirder Cheshire cat, tbh!)

and all of the Seven(the seven deadly sins that got kicked out of hell bc they "lost their spice" and weren't doing their jobs. They're from a different story!)

•I've been meaning to design Distonek and two of his friends (though they probably won't ever be fleshed out too much), and probably around 20 others for specific groups? (Theres 10 elements and there has to be a specific monster and character for each element, so)
I'm typically better at designing characters before having much of a concept as to who they are, so Distonek's in some hot water right now

•Around 40 I think of ones I've never drawn. There are a few more concepts for characters I will create in the future but don't have any current thoughts for them.

Most of my characters have a design because I usually do design first when I make characters. I have an idea for a character though that’s a mind controller who manipulates people into improving their own lives. I love a good ole morally gray character.

Out of like... 30-40 of my ocs, the only ones who have a fixed design are 4. About 7 are still having their design finalized, and the rest only existed by name in my head.

•Two: I wrote about them but for some reason I found out/remembered their existence when I found a doodle the size of my finger of them. That was the only proof they existed.
