King; The Demon Witch Age: 35 yrs
Ethnicity: Non-Vesuvian (chinese inspired)
Height: 6'8"
Originally hailing from a distant country, King had made a name for himself long before his story brought him to Vesuvia. Entwining himself in politics and making himself invaluable to higher court with his ability to gain sensitive intel. Not a cruel person by nature originally, King was still quite stern and much later in his career had begun utilizing interrogation as a means of gaining intel on particularily difficult people of interest.
By the time King began his trip west towards Vesuvia, he had already received a summons from their ambassador. Some particularily complicated inner workings had lead the non-native to working for the allied nation in Vesuvia itself. A sort of Liaison or Ambassador for his mother country. He was however sworn to loyalty/grandfathered within the capitol as he started work with the high court and the courtiers themselves as an advisor on public relations and keeping things running smoothly thanks to the information King would acquire.
When the plague struck, he was one of many left scrambling to solve the strange mystery. Pressed to fill roles he was underqualified to fulfill. The sudden drop in medical personnel being amongst the most pertinent.
Unfortunately, it didn't take long to see why as King himself contracted the sickness. By then, he had developed several close ties and relationships. Terrified to lose them to the rampaging plague, he made many mistakes on his death bed. Swearing things of himself he shouldn't have. Life is precious, but King should have died and uttered no pleas that night.
He did not stay dead for long sadly.
Returning once again, renewed and in an unfamiliar state with himself. He was King, but no longer King. He was an agent to the Devil himself. A demon reborn to carry on his will, unknowing he was anything but a demon or that he had ever made pacts with the devil to begin with.
No doubt those thinking he was dead could not fully grasp King's new, strange persona. They of course blamed it on damage from the plague, and tried to adapt.
However as more time goes on, the hungrier King gets and the more he feeds, the stronger he becomes. Should he become too powerful, there may be no going back. Yet should he regain his memories, is there really any hope for him left?
Ultimately there are only two outcomes for the insatiable Demon Witch.Nov 25, 2020
