I'm working on a scifi story. Been struggling all day to come up with a plot for it but I think I figured it out! I would like some opinions and suggestions on it.
Here it is:
Galatica follows the story of the crew of the Apsis-12.
They discover that the world is a simulation, created to keep them complacent after the world was destroyed by a cosmic eldrich horror some 10 years ago.
Everyone had been forced into the simulation, or killed. Their memories of the event were wiped upon entering.
Kirby Evercott and his crew are determined to find a way to shut off the simulation, before everyone whos truly alive simply dies out and the universe essentially goes extinct and lifeless.
But the programmers, the ones in charge of the simulation, refuse to let them leave. They believe letting the universe die happy, is better then letting it live on in the ravaged remains.Feb 24, 2021

That plot though its really creative you don't see so many simulation plots and I find them the most enjoyable like this one
