Question: Does anyone use sticker cutting machines like Cricut?

I've been hearing mixed reviews and I'm looking into getting cricut or silhouette Portrait to make stickers and I could use some artists opinions on what's best.

Is it true that to use Cricut you need an internet connection or profile with their software?

Get a Sillhouette! Cricut does require an internet connection/cloud service and it caused a HUGE uproar recently when they announced they would start charging a subscription fee to use the cloud. With Sillhouette you save files to your computer like a normal program.

Cricut backtracked real fast though and made it so there no subscription for anybody who buys one before end of 2021, but it's a scummy idea. Both manufacturers have pros and cons though. Sillhouette machine for some reason is super loud, idk about Cricut.
I use a Sillhouette portrait, so mine is fairly old and maybe doesn't compare with what's out there now
I use a cameo silhouette! I think cricut is more popular but cameo silhouette is better (I've heard of people using a cricut and then switching to a cameo). I'm not really sure what you mean about internet connection or profile with the software?
