That’s okay, pretty much every new user here has no idea how to use Artfol since there isn’t an in-app tutorial yet!
The basic rundown is…
• No algorithm, just chronological order
• Commenting on posts (art & text) seem to do pretty well for your visibility & growth
• Collections (saving posts to view later) & the reshare feature are both hidden under the arrow in the lower right corner of the post on the screen (only art posts can be reshared)
• If you post any art depicting blood or wounds, filter it with the Gore Filter. If you post any art that has nudity or is “suggestive in nature,” filter with the NSFW filter (prevents minors from viewing it!) Porn isn’t allowed on Artfol due to Appstore rules, I’m not completely sure why it’s still called the “NSFW filter,” lol.
• If you add “question” as a hashtag in the hashtag section to a text post asking folks about something, it’ll appear in the Questions Tab!
And… just be nice to people! Most users should be pretty friendly, but if one isn’t, block & (if applicable) report them!
