Do anyone have any tips to post your traditional drawings?
I don't have my scanner right now, so I am not really sure how I can post my tradicional drawings aside from just taking pictures of it. Those anyone have any recommendations on what to do?Mar 1, 2024

I dont take the BEST pictures 
but I advice you to take your pictures in the morning, but put close a thin curtain on the window ( it gives enough lightening but not too much ) also, dont let the light come from the front of the drawing, or the light will reflect on the pencil lines of the drawing and it will look wierd and we wont see the cool shadows. So yep

Make use of natural lighting, taking pictures in the dark with the phone's flash usually doesnt look as good as taking them in sunlight

If you have simple black and white or white and grey (pencil)- you can make it look sort of like a scan with your phone. You can take a photo and change the black point and contrast until it looks like a clear black and white photo- I’ve found this can look nice especially with ink drawings

I take pictures with my phone, and I orientate the paper sheet so that the lamp that is lighthing it comes from the same direction of the light source in the drawing

Get a scanner app like Genius Scan. Take photos outside during the day in cloudy weather if possible. If not possible, find shade.

If you have weird shadows, or if your light source is glaring too much onto your piece (like making the pencil lines look weird) then bouncing the light off of a blank piece of paper works nice.
It’s a bit of a hassle to manage the paper with one hand and take the photo with the other, but the light turns nice and soft.

if u wanna avoid shadows use the flash feature regardless of how light it is wherever u r. it’s easier w direct light on it n the flash does that well , u can put a filter on it after if u want a more natural lighting look & colour retouch if the colours r off

I just take photos with my phone because I find it easiest. Just make sure you're doing it in a well lit room and near a window if possible. And if you want you can edit it a bit to make it look better and to bring back the colors. The more you will try the better you will get at it
