Well I've cried and I've come to terms with the stupid ending so actually I'm gonna make my own ending
Alex and Tom get married, they adopt Ellie and the other kids, Peter visits Chris in his dreams every night and Chris gets to tell Peter he loves him, Penny and Simon are accepted into the group and arent hunted down and they somehow turn back into humans, Penny has her baby and it isn't a monster and Chris and Simon accept the child as their niece/nephew, everyone lives happily together, the world doesn't end, the apocalypse is over and humanity begins to rebuild itself
