Doesn’t happens to you that if you are in a family party, your family starts talking about politics, everyone is screaming, eat dinner really late, or your family comes late to the party.

Literally everything you said is accurate lol
I’m afrolatino and my family is always late to dinner, church, other events - so my mom has to tell them that the event is happening an hour earlier than usual so they actually show up on time
People from other houses can hear us talking whenever we have a party
The kitchen is always a huge mess but then abuelita stays and helps us clean and then suddenly the kitchen is perfect
Our political conversations don’t really last long
We talk about it and then someone makes a joke about it and then we move on from the conversation lmao
We either eat supper at 8pm or 10pm and I DON’T KNOW WHY BUT WE ALWAYS EAT IT SO LATE

•I’m only half Hispanic, and the coming over very late always happens! My Hispanic family is a little weird though because they like to eat dinner at about 3 pm haha. I mostly just have stories about having too many really stupid uncles and we joke around that it’s a telenovella haha
