"Planktons are the powerhouse of the oceans!"
Firstly, the visuals start to bother me more and more with each subsequent episode. One shot has actual characters, but then the next shot is those same characters as silhouettes. The faces in scenes that aren't close-ups are really inconsistent too. I really hope that for the Japanese BD release these issues are fixed. That being said, no complaints about the art style overall.
Now for the actual plot: a plankton stand is on the loose, and the fashionably-dressed prisoners volunteer to stop it. One of these fashionable prisoners is the one and only Foo-oh wait, it's Aetroe. Too bad she bit the dust early, RIP...for now.
So, Like a Virgin is retained with no issues but the other renames still had happen out of fear that the record labels will sue their pants off. Okay. Maybe it's cuz the Madonna song and album it's referencing was released by Sire Records, which is also owned by WB.
Gotta love Jolyne effectively being Spider-Man now with all of these threads. She can make running on them look cool.
Will our main duo get to the tire in the tractor and find out more about these disc shenanigans? Stay tuned...Jan 14, 2022
