Ho-ohThis drawing has a bit of a backstory- I was seeing a cool art therapy technique on insta where the artist was drawing big loose lines then coloring with wet loose washes. Loved the look/process but wanted to try it on an illustration- was originally intending to go rainbow but the mix of DS transparent Pyrrol orange and DV opus pink I used for the body pooled and dried so beautifully that I decided to just finish the illustration.
Also used salt for the bg which is a fun texture and my mica colors which look rad but I’m going to apply them in full sunlight from now on because I have a hard time seeing them go down!Jun 24, 2023
