Been thinking about streaming/making YouTube videos for a few years now, and I finally may be able to start with it...

But I can't, cause I'm very shy, and it's very sad :(

Anyway, any streamers in here? Any tips? If you stream on Twitch, what programs do you use?

Not a streamer, but i wish you the best of luck with your videos!
if you're nervous because of your voice, try to find a live voice altering software. voicemod is pretty good, but you'll need to pay for it I you want to use the same voice regularly.

otherwise, the most commonly used software I believe is obs for streaming and streamlabs for alerts (like new follows and such). obs is totally free, lightweight and open source so you'll be able to find plenty of add-ons for it. streamlabs is really easy to use, but if you're also using labels then it'll eat up your cpu. stream elements is a good alternative, as it combines alerts, chat commands (like what nightbot can do on twitch), and labels. and you don't have to download anything for it, as opposed to streamlabs for labels. you can also create your overlay on stream elements and put it into obs so that could help clear up some cpu too!

if you have any questions, feel free to send a dm my way. I'm happy to help in whatever way I can :)
I don’t really use my mic again I’m the same I become shy
I stream on twitch using stream labs or obs
