Romain - The Summoner (Boss Encounter)So what if in Divide RPG, the player plays as a Monqanut Empire Knight instead?
You will be tasked to fight against those who are set out to eliminate your Enseyvian identity just because you were born with the power of magic! Along the way, you have a special mission of delivering a valuable item -- one that ensures your species will not be wiped out off the face of Protistum -- to your Imperial Elite Knights (IEK) , but there stands in your path the COMFOSJS.
For the final boss you face Commander Romain of Cerbera Team. His team had ruthlessly eliminated your fellow Knight Brothers and Sisters, leaving only you as the last one standing. If you don't defeat him, the entire IEK will collapse as the COMFOSJS will have all your data. And soon enough, all your Enseyvian friends and families will fall like domino pieces.
Romain is not your average COMFOSJS. He is a skilled summoner, a one-man army. His main 3 summonings are the Gargouilles for ranged attack, Golem for defense and Schliconnes as melee damage (not pictured because it won't fit the arrangement, haha). But if you focus on his minions alone, you might be hit by his poison attacks! Don't worry about his pistol, that one's just for show because this Commander never fires a single shot!
Ok. This was really hard to do (hence it took me long to post this) because of the multiple characters in one image. But here it is. About the picture itself, I had to put it on display everything he does, and this results in a non-realistic battle stance. (Hey, it's fiction!) But under normal circumstances, he would only take out his potions / blood tubes before summoning, or when necessary. His Golem should be up front, alongside Schliconne and other close-ranged minions, and the Gargouilles would be somewhere high up (like on a roof) for better sniping position. The guns he equips them can be either COMFOS standard-issue or any that he salvages. Summoning is a very 'eco' kind of magic, hahaha.
In the story, he will summon more, but that's for y'all to find out when I publish it!May 28, 2025

Always so fun to read through these, with the amount of lore detail in there. I love this shot of him even if it's not exactly how they would all be situated in battle. You're so good at capturing these domineering and dynamic angles/poses! A battle against him sounds very multi-layered and I wouldn't expect otherwise!
