He’s a basketball coach and is a complete cinnamon roll except when it comes to River (he/him.) River normally follows him around because he doesn’t have anywhere to go — they have a sort of brotherly relationship. River has no interest in basketball. However, Maverick has a lot of interest in Silas (also he/him) who’s one of the players on the team.
