Mimi AU ref sheet!

Woooo yeah another Mimi AU! This is actually a part of the AU depicted in my last post :]

Mimi and her group of friends were all heavily experimented on in a lab facility. They’ve lived that way for pretty much their whole lives. However, they made a successful escape with a group of other experiments when she was about 11.

Since that day, Mimi has been on the run, her group being led by one of the highly respected and well known head researchers, who escaped with them. He basically helped them, trading their freedom for his as well.

Mimi, as a result of these experiments, is able to grow plants at her will. She can make gardens and grow them as well, basically meaning the group depends on her for their survival. Kay and Kara are also big survival factors for the group, seeing as Kay can use her fire abilities for easy access to heat and Kara can bring up fresh water for the traveling runaways.

Another thing about Mimi is that her plants react to her emotions. The magic works as a way to protect her. If she is distressed, for example, thorny plants will form a wall around her as a means of defending her. The types of plants she can grow may also be affected by her mood. For example, sunflowers would grow around her if she were happy, and things like black roses if she is upset.

I’m planning on drawing some scenes with this au, an angsty one might be coming up pretty soon
