The mother of the desert
Logbook :"The Mārdā are communities living in deserts lands. "Mārdā" means mothers in their language, in fact they are also known as "The Mothers of the desert". In their culture the maternal figure is central in the way of transmitting their values and way of life. Hospitality is natural for them, welcoming every lost traveler, I had a chance to find them before a sandstorm. To protect their body from this hostile climat, the Mārdā cover themselves with multiple layers of capes they decorated with time and passion. They are wise and benevolent, respecting each member of the community and the strangers they welcome. A true sisterhood in the middle of the desert."Aug 20, 2021
