Day 10: Crystal 
Another original character for this prompt! 
I knew pretty quickly that I wanted to draw a mermaid based on aquamarine for this prompt, both because it’s my third crystal inspired mermaid OC, and because aquamarine’s one of my favourites 
This piece also has a little bit of a story to it, mostly inspired by the fact that while I was working on this, I had Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” playing in my head
I like to think one of her friends (maybe either the Jade mermaid or the Opal mermaid I drew last year?) called her to tell her that her ex is saying they’re still together, and she’s exasperated beyond belief because they just can’t take a hint 
Also please don’t ask how she’s using a phone underwater, illogical compositions are kind of a thing this MerMay
