As an artist, do you retire an art style that doesn't get as much attention as your newest art styles?
Or do you just keep creating in that style regardless of the waning engagement?May 1, 2022

I don't think it's a conscious effort to change the way you draw. I believe it's just a gradual evolution process based on what you've been inspired by and what type of references you expose yourself to.
I think we all subconsciously adjust the way we draw over time and it's actually more difficult to stick to the same style ...I speak for myself here anyway

•What’s the point of drawing if you don’t just draw whatever you want?
Don’t quit anything only because it doesn’t do well on the internet.

•i know i definitely have certain styles that get attention and other styles that don’t, and i’d use the former a lot more IF i wanted it to make a career for myself
but i’m not interested in an art career (in relation to my comic maybe but i don’t intend on changing the style because it’s getting good traction), so i just draw what i want in whatever style i want
