So I'll be returning to my weekly ocs questions soon (hopefully by the start of the next year while I brainstorm the most random questions) but since I'm super close to finish a rough draft I hope to finish I'd like to ask all the writers here what yall are working on!
Whats your story about? Any struggles in developing certain parts? Need advice or suggestions?
Example answer:
I've very very close to finishing the first draft of my little mermaid retelling.
It's a story that follows a kleptomaniac character named Pearl who wishes to explore the land after already exploring most of the sea.
A sea witch makes a deal with her: in exchange for legs she must kiss the prince she has been 'studying' within three months or be turned into sea foam.
Pearl accepts but unfortunately finds out too late that the prince's cousin, the king, is a sea hunter, who suspects she might not actually be human!
At the moment I'm very with how fast I managed to reach the last chapter of the story within like a month lol (thank you writing sprints
). I don't have any struggles right now but I will be doing some heavy editing after I let the draft marinate for a bit before I pick and prod.
Anyways if you told me about your story before spam it again because probably forgot all the details lol.Dec 2, 2024
