Nope it can be part of the process I mean that’s how I fix my lighting a bit and y’know add some 
spice. In my photography too it just brings out the art like the saturation.

I hear a lot of people use them, so no. Plus, sometimes the camera doesn't pick it up very good and a filter can help separate the drawing from, say, the blank areas of the page

I usually consider filters to be part of the color correction process. Sometimes I play around with filters and see if something pops, then I try to recreate it myself

For digital, not at all lol. For traditional, possibly. Depends on the filter and how transformative it is. I use filters for tradi stuff mainly just to make the colors look closer to irl rather than to enhance it because I don't like the idea of the real drawing not being as cool as the posted one lol

•Not at all! Filters can help tie the finished piece together whether it’s on a photo of a traditional piece or a filter over a digital piece. I personally love filters that increase the contrast.

•Why would it be cheating? Its an efficient way to edit your colors at the last minute and can help uniformise your colors if needed
