Cool fruit tree
It's a tree with cool fruit on it. The seeds do run around but they aren't cognitive in the way a creature would be. They mostly just function to carry themselves somewhere they can grow and that's about it. The seeds are somewhat fragile when they are first dispersed. After being dispersed, their bodies contain enough nutrients for 1-2 days of travel. They will travel to a point that is comfortable to grow, and they'll collapse, where their bodies will harden and they'll grow into a full plant.The fruit when ripe has a cool fetal seed inside and a bunch of goop. They're not super popular to eat but quite a few people do really like the taste. Described as something like 'tangy, spicy and sweet' The outer rinds are really chewy, and the insides are almost like jam. Some people don't like eating the seed but since they have no bones and taste just like the juice of the fruit, they're actually popular to eat. Sort of like a soft gummy.Aug 22, 2022
