How I exploit AI for my own benefitBefore you freak out, no, this image was not AI generated!
I hate AI like any other artist, but I also, really, really hate drawing everything from scratch.
It's not that I can't sit down and spend hours on the ultimate composition and brilliant idea, however -
What I like to do, at least recently, is find an image some AI art showcaser uploaded to Pinterest.
I trace over the idea and composition, and, "actualize" the piece of stolen algorithm hellchild and turn it into an actual art piece.
Tracing, is not morally correct, however, stealing AI art is perfectly moral.
It is a grey area, at least in my opinion.
And I've been having a blast with these pieces.
This, is one of many pieces, I actually had fun drawing for once.
For a bit more context, I've been awful unmotivated to draw anything. My well of ideas and Mises ran dry months ago, and all I could do was basically cry about it. I could not draw heck. But then it came to me... I'll just trace something, to get into art again. AI art is not intellectual property, so I felt no shame doing it.
I'm back from my worst, depressive art block yet.
