Does anyone have any tips on developing a consistent art style? As you can tell from my art, my style isn't very consistent. It's fine to have multiple styles and be able to change a style. But I would like to maintain a consistent style for things like Sandy Star or whatever future thing I wanna come up with.

seconding lote on this. reference sheets are great for keeping things consistent! they're how animation studios stay on model despite so many different people working on it. and yea, practicing how you want things to look will also help in the long run. (don't be afraid of practicing outside the style sometimes either!! practicing clothing folds, for example, helps you figure out how you want them to look in your style later)

Focus on the things you enjoy most, what you like the look of, and most of all what you like the feel of. I say “focus” but really it’ll probably just come naturally if you just draw, draw the way you like, not the way you think it should be, if that makes sense. Don’t think too hard about it, in other words.

I'm still struggling with keeping mine consistent but a good thing is to keep a reference sheet of how you stylize the face, body, clothes, etc. And try to keep practicing drawing the same thing basically until it becomes second nature. Hopefully that helps
