This confirms what I already thought of the app. It has changed so dramatically from past years. Comparison: 6 of my latest art related videos on TikTok got 900-1000 views each.
But I'm not a video artist and won't become one. So that's an issue (being a small artist on Instagram) and it is what it is.
I'm not a daily content artist either but doing the black and white art challenge gave me this data as a side product.
I'm super happy about Artfol, honestly, heh, because of how social it is and how supportive the community is.
I wish I had one or two more places to post my art to that have a similar welcoming feeling this app does, and inspiring artists who are each doing their own thing.Oct 30, 2023

Yeah, I totally agree. I only bother posting on Instagram because my irl friends want to see my art once in a while.. Actually most of my followers on there are just friends of mine, either irl or from other social media apps, and I can't reach any new people apparently -_-.
