art inspo challengei've never done an artfol challenge but this one seemed fun and i wanted to try!
1. shimizu reiko. extremely clean work, classic compositions, delicate lines. what's not to love
2. amei zhao. INCREDIBLE compositions, lighting, use of colour. i met them once at tcaf and i was very happy to get a copy of nameless and the scientist signed. super nice!
3. yoshitaka amano. he can do it all idk the man is a genius
4. erin vest. beautiful colours and compositions, lots of texture while remaining quite minimal. use of space goals forever
5. kamatani yuhki. compositions foreverrrr if you get the chance to read any of their work their panel layouts are so
6. itoh yu. beautiful beautiful traditional art with amazing colours, and her character designs are peak. she juggles a huge cast in shut hell and they're all very distinct from each other. also did the designs in gundam iron blooded orphans!
7. edvard munch. love love love the expressionist and symbolist movement and his prints are to die for. i know everyone has seen the scream but i highly recommend checking out his woodcuts and lithographs
8. last but not least, CLAMP. my longest most formative influence, absolutely had a HEAVY hand in my aesthetic tastes since picking them up when i was what. 6 or 7? ruined my life basically

What a nice mix of artists. Yoshitaka Amano is a classic. Clamp….ofcourse haha.
Itoh yu is a interesting choice as well though I only know her from gundam. Will have to check out kamatanj and the rest, looks promising!
