Push-pull Effect Painting

This painting was inspired by an artist who did very similar paintings like this for that "push-pull effect" (meaning certain colors seem bolder while other colors seem to recede into the background - and it seems to change the longer you look at it).

My professor actually asked if I listened to jazz while painting this, and I was like...nope symphonic metal My music doesn't have too much effect on my art outcomes, but it does help keep me inspired to finish it
