Use 2 cups of water, one to clean your brushes in and one with clear water for activating/mixing the paints. Work from light to dark tones and don't try to achive the final colours in one single layer. Instead paint mulitple times over a space (after it has dried) to build up the colours. Have fun with your watercolours! :)

•Be patient and be very attentive to how much water is in your brush if it looks like,,, rough? You need a bit more and if you can’t control it use less water, also I usually dual wield a brush and a paper towel so I can control water but that’s a personal preference
