MK, a pog dude

I missed working on more complex things for a while (and I’m pretty sure you all did too xD), so I sank myself into a traditional piece again! But not just any piece...

This is MK, a robot design my pal @framed51 designed and modeled! I stood wanting to make fanart for it for a while, cause his design looked amazing and I couldn’t get over its retro charm lol.

That’s when I made the bizarre decision of working on him traditionally, and oh boi- you peeps are in for a ride ️

I used my Prismacolors, some white pens + a white Posca, a black ballpoint pen and an orange gel pen I almost killed with this piece :’P Oh, and some papercut stars too! They turned out perfect for the background ^^

My greatest challenge was getting all the details in the right place, together with the wacky posing I picked + doing it all linelessly. It was ambitious as heck, hence the time I spent on it - roughly more than 2 weeks!

I suffered, raged over the perspective, gasped in euphoria and silently stared in joy. I literally felt a whole bunch of things while this poster-esque piece was coming alive! And I hope you enjoy the outcome
