Summary:
Crown Prince of Llayla's Kyn, an Elven kingdom and race descended from Llayla - one of the original Fae beings.

Being the next in line to the throne holds much responsibility, for ruling his peoples is not his only duty. The great forest of Llayla's Kyn is a sacred ancestral ground that holds great power and pure natural magics that are untainted by disruption.

The ruler and protector of the Llayla's Kyn must protect the forest not only from living enemies, but also from natural decay. The people thrive with the forest, not because of it.

Alysteran is commanding and uptight when he needs to be (which is basically 24/7) and can be seen as quite cold at times because of it, but a stern hand is expected of the next King.

However, in those rare moments beyond the view of the unwanted, he can also be very caring and protective of a select few - namely his younger siblings and personal crownsguard, Erlathan.

Fun fact:
Since Erlathan is blind, particularly when away from nature, it is Alys that takes care of him and grounds him.
(this is a gentle side to the crown prince that only Erlathan ever 'sees')
