Just a sketch...
...of my ancient OC, Damien.Damien is an old Hellsing OC I made when i was around 16-17, I think. At some point I stopped using him specifically for Hellsing, and he basically morphed into his own character. These days I use him for anything and everything, so expect to see him pop up in my gallery from time to time.
He's a dhampir who ran away from home after he got sick of his living with his evil parents (his mom was an evil queen, and his dad was basically Vlad the Impaler/Dracula), so he could travel the world with his friends for a fun and carefree life of adventure!
He lived like that until his late-twenties/early-thirties when things started to go wrong (his girlfriend died, his best friend betrayed him, he had to kill his other "friend" who turned out to be evil, etc), which eventually accumulated in having to go back home after learning that his mother was sick and dying (his father died years ago which didn't effect Damien, since he absolutely hated the guy), and needed someone to take up the throne after her.
So, he took up the throne after her death and is currently not too happy about this arrangement - he HATES politics, but it was either taking up the throne, or letting someone way worse then his parents be in charge of things.
After all that, Hhe was able to turn whatever kingdom he's from into a nice, not-evil kingdom, where people can actually live in peace.
JESUS, that was a long description. I'm happy with how this sketch came out, even if it doesn't reflect his personality very well - he's more jovial then this, but whatever.Jul 18, 2025
