Reasons why I don't do a whole lot of comics:
1. I can never get the panel sizes right. Right when you think it's the right size for one scene, it turns out that it actually isn't.
2. On digital, because of the first reason, I can never get the canvas size right either. Right when you think it's the right size to fit all of these panels in, it turns out that it actually isn't.
3. Also on digital, forming the panels first before drawing the content on different layers means that my ol trick of filling in colors with the magic wand tool gets more difficult, especially for pieces of the linework that aren't complete due to the panel outline covering it up.Mar 22, 2022
