I'm exhausted by life, heh!!!
It's a lot, balancing two big volunteer work projects, plus an unrelated regular job. I wish society recognized the value of lgbtq+ events, lgbtq+ social work and human rights activism and paid money for the people who give their time and expertise for the cause. It would be cool to make a living doing what I'm passionate about.
Not many such opportunities exist in the whole country, if there are some jobs open they're mostly in the capital city, but they're doing fine, and are practically years ahead in progress compared to smaller cities. It's exactly the smaller cities where all the hard work is equally, if not more needed.
Sigh! I need to rest so I can be present in my own life, and return with my batteries charged when it's time. How are things in the making art front, one might ask. Well, I've got this month's posts queued up and ready, so I'm feeling good about not trying to force it, on top of all this.
Today I'm cooking food, listening to podcasts, playing lil phone games. I might not even go outside, even though we have fresh snow. I'll go swimming in the evening because I want to.Apr 5, 2022
