If you’re doing digital put an overlay layer over the entire image of a colour you want to make the colours below harmonise with. It’s an absolute cheat but it makes things look nice, don’t forget to reduce opacity so it isn’t it obvious, I keep mine at 10-30% opacity

•Color wheels are a life saver!! Being able to tell what color compliments another (red & blue, orange & purple) is super helpful. There are some tools online like color palette generators that can give you a good idea of what colors go together, too!!
