Missing Pieces
If you follow me on Instagram, you’re probably familiar with this AU. If not...here’s a rundown:For the last six months I’ve been working on a crossover story between One Piece and Full Moon wo Sagashite. It takes place a year after the Whole Cake Island arc, which ends differently and tragically.
Sanji is a shinigami working in the pediatrics department, alongside Meroko Yui (a Full Moon character.) If you’re familiar with Full Moon, then you can probably fill in a couple of details...but all you really need to know is that shinigami have no memory of their past life, and as this AU progresses, that will start to change.
As I’m a ZoSan shipper, this AU primarily revolves around Sanji’s feelings for Zoro but there are a couple of other relationships and conflicts as well. I really like several of the pieces I’ve done of this story, so I want to share them here.
I was trying to mimic a shoujo+doujin style cover with this piece. I don’t love the way Zoro looks, but I’m really happy with the details in Sanji’s wings and my use of Washi tape!Jun 13, 2021
