One Character, Many Styles -Challenge
A challenge where we compare all the styles we've drawn a specific character in? Neat! For me the only problem is that I have VERY little consistency in my style so... Always sliiightly different. I started this meme with like 40 images I WANTED to include.The first two are suuuper old ones from back when Pit was a Pidgeot Gijinka in a rather short-lived Pokémon Mafia roleplay group. (Other than these two and the last three, these are in no meaningful order. No way I was gonna check the upload date for them all!)
But yes, after the group died, there was several years of NOTHING, until I joined a Pokémon ARPG with him as a human Pokémon Trainer in 2018. All but the last three are from that group! The two where he has a beard and beanie are from the ARPG group where I have him now which is basically a sequel to the other Pokémon ARPG which I decided to pull him out of to focus on his non-Pokémon storyline. (His story was my NaNoWriMo 2020 project! Though ATM I'm worried his story may need to be split into two parts which would mean it's not a canditate for being my debut project. RIP. Gotta write something shorter first and come back to this one later. :') Time will tell is beanie-Pit will appear in that story too, but it does make sense for the Poké-universe one.)
As for the last one. It was also made during that long-term Pokémon ARPG. xD I had a ton of fun making him in Dream Daddy, even if I had no intention of playing the game as him. I was shocked by how well the character builder was able to replicate him, even if I did have to add his eye tattoos later. I also made one of his friend but I don't think I have enough drawings of that guy to warrant his own version of this meme. RIP.
On another note. I love how like. Back in 2012 and 2013, the difference between my pencil and digital stuff was so drastic, LOL. I was way more comfy with a pencil. And now I'm more comfy with digital and barely do anything but boredom-chibis with pencil. Whoops.Jul 14, 2021

They all look so interesting!! I think consistent artstyles are a bit overrated tbh, it's much more interesting to experiment with your style and discover things you might like more
