Question round
When you find a new artist, no matter what platform, do you follow them only on one or on other social medians as well?

I try to follow artists on different platforms, as long as they have them. Sometimes I find artists by chance on other platforms like Youtube, but they never mention that they have YT. Which I find a bit sad because I like to watch speed painting, tutorials but also their vlogs. But they never mention it :O I've been following an artist on Twitter for over 3-4 years, recently I found her active Youtube channel by accident. And all this time, she never mentioned that she has a YT account. But in the video description she has linked all her social media pages. This raises the question, why don't some people do that? So her pages, whether it's DeviantART, Twitter, IG or Youtube, are hardly mentioned or not mentioned at all, although all accounts are active.
I always put all my links in my Artwork descriptions and also in my profile so that I give everyone the chance to find me.May 11, 2021

I usually don’t seek them out on multiple but I’ll follow if I find them. Sometimes mute them on a platform or two so I don’t see the same art everywhere but still support with a follow. I mostly don’t always follow multiple because I’m very self conscious of how many people I follow cause it’s always more than my follows and I worry about coming off as following everyone for follows. I just like lots of art.
As for not linking accounts I’m not quite sure why some people do. I don’t link my new accounts immediately until I post and get more comfortable with the platform. I could understand if it’s a personal or abandoned account but not quite sure.

Usually only one, but if I really enjoy their art I'll check out another platform.
I have some accounts that I don't advertise, and it's for different reasons. Sometimes I just want somewhere to post without my usual following there so I can interact with new people, or it's just not an account I want to take seriously. I'll post just to have content, but I don't necessarily want those accounts to be part of my "brand", if that makes sense.

Sometimes I follow one and when I check their art out and it captivates me I’ll follow on multiple

I usually only follow on one account or platform, but if it’s a favorite artist I usually follow on multiple (not really favoritism, just that it I’m probably already following them on another platform and discovered they were on another lol)

I like to try to follow them on more than one platform...but I forget a lot of the time...
