I don’t have any new art for Mother's Day so here's what I did last year! Here's Traute holding her newborn daughter, Bernadette :]

Bernadette was not planned at all. She was the result of a relationship between her and Kenny that was never meant to become as serious as it did. When she found out she was pregnant she was a bit mortified, and was worried about her ability to be a good mother. She grew more and more anxious as time went on, and when it was about time for Bernie to be born she even considered giving her up to Historia's orphanage at one point. However, once she was born, all of her fears faded away and she was smitten with her daughter. She and Kenny did attempt to raise their daughter as a family, but realized it'd be best if they went their separate ways. Traute remains a single mother for a few more years after that, until she eventually meets fellow single mother Carly Stratmann and falls in love with her.
