Goldstones were made after Future took place for gems who want to experiment with romance.
Basically a romance slave made for entertainment purposes, created as gems work more towards understanding humans but still have trouble not falling into old patterns.
The creation of Goldstone was not Diamond supervised or done with their knowledge.
When Steven found out about this underground gem production he put a stop to it and to the slavery of Goldstones.
This specific Goldstone was a romance slave for years, then when they were liberated they left to go live on Earth. They found themselves through art and all types of creation.
They decided to romance humans or gems of their own choice this time, but they can lean into being codependent due to old habits.
They have cracks on their chest forming around their gem, while some cracks are due to physical damage, these cracks seem to have formed due to mental trauma.
