If u want a small example, just different preferences for where you want to go for a day can be VERY different problems to solve depending on who’s there, what opinions people have, where you are and how much time you have before you need to choose, or how long you have left to spend!

Would u mean intentionally or unintentionally; depending on the story and how it’s world and characters interact, much conflict can be caused just through how different situations work together, rather than a person’s inherent traits - it’s very rare that things will happen perfectly, and small things can be allowed to escalate in different ways. Their motives are a very big indicator, or at least what’s more important to them, so this could be a good starting point

•Depends on the story and the other characters, but making them stubborn, impulsive or the kind of person that hates admitting that they're wrong could work
