Hello there, FRIEND!This piece... oh my gosh, this piece. It literally makes me question how far would I go to emulate an aesthetic- heck, I even resorted to using MS Paint, since I couldn't find a brush that resembled the textures nearly as much :'D
So, do you guys remember corru.observer? I wanted to paint something inspired by all its vibes, aesthetic and color palette (currently obsessed with them lol), and realized: "wait, the spray can in MS Paint can give me a really similar texture effect to the rendering Corru achieved. What if..."
That’s when I started sketching with the pixel pencil, slowly bulding up the textures, and then blending them with the spray can. So far, so good!

I was having a whole lot of fun seeing how the 3D-ness of the piece was coming together. And yep, it was a literal art of patience to fix all the uneven gaps the spray was leaving lol (I'll let the walls of the elevator speak for themselves).
Also, I had the ambitious idea of messing with the POV of a camera + using a bit of fish-eye distortion to make it more believable :’P
Getting the curves and perspective wasn't easy at all, but man- it paid off so well in the end I can't help but feel proud of the result. I needed to practice more with environmental stuff, and this came in like a glove!
Oh, and lastly- this handsome bird man is an idea I had for a very long time, which was inspired by this song:

It sits in the experimental + dark ambient genres lol, and realized the vibes matched the game in a way :]
Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the insane amount of work I've had with this piece! It's a crazy one, and I love the effects it has. Done solely with the pixel brush and spray can, and CMYK ^^Jan 20, 2023

Omg... This ia definitely the most creative drawing i've seen in a while. Not only you worked in ms paint but you gave these piece so much intrigue with the angle, perspective and style! It looks like we are looking through a camera in the corner of the elevator and I fking love that!
Ofc first thing you see is the eyes because they are in the center and piercing through your soul. And then you slowly look around and it seems like you are stuck in the camera and awaiting your doom. Hahah

•This drawing had a really cool effect for me - at first I couldn't tell what I was looking at, but after a couple seconds it all started coming together piece by piece and it was amazing! Fantastic work, your style is very unique!

I also realized this piece would fit like a glove in the 3 colors contest... it was fresh baked from the MS Paint oven, so I guess it was more than fine, plus black and white were included ^^
