Out of my curiosity peeps.
I try to figure out the slice of ages here?
What's motivated you to draw / paint?
Are you ready to support indie self produce artists?Jan 5, 2021

30s here, and I have doodled for as long I can remember, but what motivates me to really draw and improve my drawing is I like seeing ideas in my head put down on "paper" so others can see them too.
Eh, I don't particularly like the term "indy" artists because that conveys a particular image and that kind of art I'm not fond of and don't really patronize. Given that I fall into the "starving artist" trope I can't financially support other artists, instead I just boost the ones that I particularly like or have a connection to.

•I'm near to 20 now, and I've draw all my life, but I got motivation to do real stuff when I figured that I liked drawing characters of my stories and that I discovered a passion for Belgium comics. I think I was something like 15, 16?
I support indie artists regularly, everytime I have some bucks saved :) I'm not in mesure to support people on Patreon or stuff like that, but I try to buy something from artists I truly like when I can.

•24 and been working more seriously since about high school with ap stuff. That being said always liked painting. Mostly motivated because I like that satisfying feeling of making something and slowly layering til it looks 'right'. Whatever that is. Just always liked the feeling of finishing something. Right now I mostly support artists I know personally or local artists in my area because it's more available anyhow. Depending on the city that's the best option I find.
