Chalk Pastel Project - Pennsylvania's State Bird (Ruffed Grouse)
Hello there and welcome to my Artfol account! This is my first post here on Artfol and I am excited to share my art with all of you! This particular post is of a chalk pastel project that I created during my twelfth-grade art class back in 2021. The theme of the art project was to create an art piece (with chalk pastels) showcasing either a state's official bird, a state's official flower, or both. I decided to combine both the state bird (Ruffed Grouse) and the state flower (Mountain-Laurel) for the state of Pennsylvania for my chalk pastel art project. This is the second project I worked on in my twelfth-grade art class and I am still very proud with how it turned out in the end.
