BNHA OC REDRAW pt 4(??? Idk I don’t remember lol)
By the time I type this, I have practically finished drawing this but like,,, I don’t like it??? Well, it’s not bad per say but it’s not particularly good either. I think it’s cuz it looks similar to another drawing I did earlier this year...Anyways, since this is probably the final WIP post, I’ll talk about her story and how I wanted the fanfiction to be.
When she was young, Miyu was often bullied. This was because many kids believed her to be quirkless and delusional, due to the fact that she thought she could only see spirits. Despite this, she didn’t have a terrible childhood, as her older brother would always be there to save her.
Miyu at the time, didn’t understand why heroes were such a big thing. And yet, her own brother wanted to be one himself. She knew that he was a good person but she felt like he didn’t need to risk his life.
That was, until disaster struck. In one of the fights between All Might and All for One (like the one that gave All Might his wound), the blows caused many destruction. Miyu’s brother, a hero-in-training and intern at the time, decided to go and help the civilians— which ended in his life.
In his death bed, he told Miyu that he didn’t regret it: because he got to save someone.
“Won’t... won’t you be a hero... for me...?”
After that, her resolved changed. While she didn’t particularly know what a true hero was, she strived to be one. Not just because it was her brother’s last wishes, but so that others wouldn’t have to go through the same losses as her.
So for the fanfiction, it would be very generic, following the same plot as the anime. Over the course of it, she would improve on her social awkwardness and social anxiety towards humans. However, around season 3 would it diverge a little and end around the Endeavor arc. This was cuz at the time, that was the latest of the manga.
You see, what I didn’t mention is that the brother had a girlfriend. This girlfriend, although genuinely loved him, worked for All for One. So when he died, she, driven with grieve, brought him back to life with her quirk. The girlfriend’s quirk is similar to Miyu’s, but only able to forcibly raise the dead. At the climax of the fanfiction, the two would battle it out. I don’t know if Miyu would’ve lived at the end.
Additional info: the brother’s quirk is ink manipulation.
But yeah, that’s pretty much all I wanted to say. Of course, there’s more info but eh, this post is already long. The fanfiction is actually still in the internet, though it’s cringey and will never be finished.May 26, 2021
