Every comment down here is already listing off great sites, so I'll just say–keep quality over quantity when making a portfolio.

There are many ways:
+ Professional portfolio sites like artstation, Behance, concept art world, etc for industry related jobs (video games, comics, illustration, etc)
+ You can use Carrd, as a simple way to create a pretty clean portfolio
+ Social medias like Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, etc can also be used as portfolio
+ You can create your own site using either WordPress, Square space, WIX, Googe sites, or the other 50+ site makers
+ I believe adobe has their own portfolio site thing if you use Adobe products
I mainly use Carrd and Artstation as my main portfolios (my carrd being the most updated of the 2) (:

You can try using WordPress, but I found it too confusing. I used Adobe portfolio for mine

1) make an artstation profile, which also have a tool to make a personalized portfolio on the site. Also all the pros are looking at stuff there so
2) you can create your own site and personalize it more!! You can add all your info and your best work!!
To create it u can use either Wix or Squarespace. I just use Tumblr cuz it's free
