but maybe it's revampingTumblr is good if you're a fanartist or somebody who posts fanart regularly, but it's difficult to get attention if you're primarily an OC artist.
That said, Tumblr is better than Artfol when it comes to tags imo. Unlike Artfol, you get recommended posts from tags that you follow (and the ability to follow tags is something Artfol lacks!).
But like Artfol, Tumblr doesn't have an algorithm. You have to curate your dashboard (your homepage) yourself, and liking posts doesn't do much to boost a post. Reblogs (reshares) are much more effective at boosting posts.
