Last night while I was having what I'll call a "spooky spell" my brain was trying so spook me by using cryptic wording. I thought it sounded cool even though I was so certain my life was about to end by the ends of some inky black shadow creature.
First bit was something like:
The growing sapling groans
The mangled figure does not breathe behind you.
Some other stuff too but it'll probably come back to me sometime. Just thought it sounded cool in the moment and realized while writing it here that I don't remember as much as I wanted to.Mar 20, 2023
