I feel like that Artfol is a much smaller community than Instagram so the like factor isn’t as nearly as present.

Honestly I feel like I like it here cause I’m just really friendly and I like talking to people, honestly I wanna make art friends, likes and follows are cool but I wanna appreciate art and talk to people

To be fair, pretty much every other social media thing is so likes/follower centric that I think it's just so conditioned for us to be like "how to I boost my numbers?" But I'd be willing to bet people will start easing off of that mindset the more we get used to how Artfol does it's thing 😊

lmao it’s so hard to get out of that mindset!!!! even though i got out of the kind of toxic thinking where i compare my art to others’ art YEARS ago, now i find myself comparing my successes to others’ and it’s frustrating
