Like, I want more action flicks like Old Guard, which quite literally made its gay couple immortal and had a creator that told the studios to either adapt the monologue that tells the homophobes to go fuck themselves or he walked. Hell, that couple had the main romance arc and got a happy ending.
So, in short, there's plenty of room for Oscar bait but I want to stop being told that lgbt folks are only allowed to get put through the wringer and get bait-typical sad endings.Dec 11, 2020
